All about iPad POS Bundles

Cash Register Warehouse have custom made compatible iPad POS Bundles available to suit a range of Software applications on the market. This is hardware only and doesn't include the Software Application. You can purchase the software directly through the Vendor.

We have a range of Receipt Printers, Cash Drawers, iPad Stands, iPads, Bluetooth Barcode Scanners and consumables which will work with all iPad applications but these bundles may only work on specific apps so it is important to check with either your software vendor or ourselves to ensure the bundle you are looking to purchase is in fact compatible to save any disappointment.

There are different ways in which the iPad will connect to the receipt printer which include Ethernet / LAN (Hard Wired), Wireless (WiFi) & Bluetooth. 

The Bluetooth pairs directly to your iPad but if you are using multiple printers, you can only do this from one iPad as you aren't able to connect multiple iPads to a single bluetooth printer.

The Wireless / WiFi Printer connects to your router or modem and the iPad is connected to the router putting the devices on the same network. By doing this you can have multiple iPads communicating to multiple Receipt & Kitchen printers on the network.

The Ethernet (also known as LAN) option is hard wired from the Receipt Printer back to your wireless router (modem) via a cable similar to a computer network. This is the most reliable and cheapest connection type although sometimes this is not a viable option so this is when you would look into a wireless printer option.

The Cash Drawers are very simple to install. You just connect the RJ12 connection cable from the Cash Drawer directly into the receipt printers DK (Drawer Kick) port. This will then allow the cash drawer to open automatically when finalising a sale.
