All about Lightspeed Retail X-Series Barcode Label Printers

Retail POS has a built-in barcode generator to convert your SKUs into barcodes and print them to label sheets or a dedicated label printer.

Dymo 550 and Dymo 550 Turbo

The Dymo 550 and Dymo 550 Turbo label printers are available for both Windows PC and Mac. These can be connected via USB directly to your device, or via Local Area Network (LAN) using an ethernet cable connected to your router.

While Dymo supports a range of different label sizes we recommend the X Dymo labels for use with Retail POS. The Dymo 550 and Dymo 550 Turbo use Automatic Label Recognition and are only compatible with Dymo-manufactured labels using RFID technology.

Important :

• Labels printed from Retail POS are in the Code 128 barcode format and are readable by most 2D scanners.
• Labels smaller than 21mm are not supported in Retail POS.
