All about Tillpoint Receipt Printers

When choosing the best receipt printer for Tillpoint Point of Sale (POS) Software, you must ensure it is compatible.

Tillpoint POS Software uses a range of Star Micronics POS Receipt Printer and connects via Ethernet / LAN Cable, Bluetooth or USB directly to the iPad though the lightening cable port. Each of these options depends on the device you are using. 

You can use multiple printers throughout your Restaurant or Cafe but you will need a dedicated Receipt Printer at the front which connects to the cash drawer. The cash drawer plugs into the DK (Drawer Kick) port and will fire automatically once a transaction has been finalised. You can also use the No Sale / Open Cash Drawer button to access the drawer but it still must be connected to the printer. Other printers can be setup on the network to act as an Order Printer which are generally used for Drink and Food orders.
