All about WaiterOne POS Receipt Printers

When using WaiterOne POS, you can use a range of different interfaces including USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth & Wireless. When you are using the Ethernet, LAN or wireless (WIFI) interface, You will need to be more specific when using the USB & Bluetooth Printers as these have been specifically developed to work with WaiterOne so please ensure you follow our WaiterOne Compatible Receipt Printer lists below.

WaiterOne POS Compatible USB Printer

There is only one USB Receipt Printer which is compatible with WaiterOne POS. 

Star TSP143III USB Receipt printer - The TSP143IIIU plugs directly into your iPad using the lightening cable. This also allows you to keep your iPad charged at the same time. This printer should only be used for single terminal and stand alone basic setups as it won't be able to perform to full capability with handhelds connected to the system. This is a great option for food vans & food trucks. 

WaiterOne POS Compatible Bluetooth Printers

WaiterOnePOS Bluetooth receipt printers pair directly to your iPad wirelessly so no cable is required. Although this is a more expensive option compared to cabling, sometime it is cheaper to do this than to have to run cables if your wireless router/modem is a distance away.

The WaiterOne POS Bluetooth printer models include:

Epson TM-M30 Bluetooth Receipt Printer - This is the cheapest Bluetooth printer that is compatible with WaiterOne and has a 2 year warranty. It also include Ethernet Interface so can be either paired to the iPad or connected to the network via cable.

Bixolon SRP-Q300 Bluetooth Receipt Printer - The SRP-Q300 is a reliable and affordable Bluetooth printer. It also include Ethernet Interface so can be either paired to the iPad or connected to the network via cable. This printer has a 2 Year Warranty. (Currently a work in Progress - Will update when completed!)

Star TSP143IIIBI Bluetooth Receipt Printer - The TSP143III is a highly reliable Bluetooth printer compatible with WaiterOne and has a 3 Year Warranty. It also has a paper decurl function so your paper always comes out flat. Great for when you are putting order into an order rail.

Star TSP654IIBI Bluetooth Receipt Printer - The TSP654II is the fastest of all of the Bluetooth Receipt Printers printing at 300mm/second. It too comes with a 3 Year Warranty and is very reliable.

If you are looking at purchasing a Bluetooth printer, you must also note that you can connect multiple Bluetooth printers to a single iPad but you cannot have multiple iPads communicating to a single printer. You can mix printer interfaces. We often have the cashier/receipt printer connected with Bluetooth to each iPad and then either Ethernet (LAN) or Wireless printers for the order printers.

WaiterOne POS Compatible Ethernet (LAN) Printers

Ethernet printers are cabled and plug directly into your wireless router/modem via network cable. The iPad communicates through your wireless router to the receipt printer. WaiterOne supports many ESC/POS receipt printer so you do have flexibility in which printers can be used, however, we recommend choosing a known brand due to support and reliability.

Star TSP143III Ethernet Receipt Printer - The TSP143III LAN is a high end, reliable POS Printer which has a decurl paper function. It literally flattens the paper which is great when using order rails. It also comes with a 3 year Warranty.

Epson TM-T82II Ethernet Receipt Printer - The TM-T82II is a great all-rounder whether you are printing receipt or orders. It comes with a 2 year warranty.

Epson TM-T20 Ethernet Receipt Printer - The TM-T20 is a great all-rounder whether you are printing receipt or orders. It comes with a 2 year warranty. (Same as the TM-T82II but has an internal power supply).

Epson TM-T88 Ethernet Receipt Printer - The TM-T88 is used for high printing volume and is the top of the range receipt printer from Epson. It is super fast and comes with a 4 year warranty.

Bixolon SRP330II Ethernet Receipt Printer - The SRP-330II is an affordable and reliable receipt printer. Once of the most cost effective solution and comes with a 2 Year Warranty.

WaiterOne POS Compatible Wireless Printers

Wireless receipt printers (Wifi Printers) connect to your wireless router/modem without any cables. The iPad communicates through your wireless router to the receipt printer. WaiterOne supports most ESC/POS receipt printer so you do have flexibility in which printers can be used, however, some models require a more advanced setup than others and support is readily available for major brands such as Epson or Star Micronics.

The WaiterOne POS wireless printer models include:

Epson TM-T82II Wireless Receipt Printer - Initial setup needs to be done using an Ethernet connection in order to setup the wireless dongle. This is not extremely hard, however, if you are not technology savvy, you may want to check out the Star TSP100. This printer has a 2 year warranty.

Star TSP143III WLAN Wireless Receipt Printer - The TSP143IIIWLAN is a premium reliable receipt printer and is extremely simple to setup. This would be our pick if you require a wireless receipt printer. Although it is more expensive, setup & reliability is much easier and it also comes with a 3 year warranty.
