All about NeoPOS Cash Drawers

When connecting your NeoPOS compatible Cash Drawer to your computer (must be a WIndows platform), you can use either a receipt printer driven or even one of our USB Cash Drawers using a trigger as NeoPOS supports a virtual comm port so if you don't require a receipt printer on each terminal then this would be your best option. Depending on the POS Terminal, you may also be able to connect the cash drawer directly to the terminal but please let us know if this is what you require and we will check to see if it is a compatible model.

The cash drawer will open automatically when a sale has been finalised. You can also select if you wish to have the cash drawer open depend on the type of payment you are selecting. For example, if you don't wish to have the cash drawer opening with Eftpos transaction, you can select this option within the settings.

We have a range of cash drawer models which vary in sizes to suit your requirements and also have under counter brackets available for some of the models so you are able to mount the POS drawer under the counter/bench top for that extra added security.
